South Street Bridge Now Closed
As of 9:30am Wednesday morning, December 8th, 2008 - the South Street Bridge will officially be closed for the next 2 years for a complete reconstruction.
How Will This Affect Your Commute?
- Commuting via the Walnut Street bridge detour route will most likely double, if not triple commute times by car and bus.
- Walking from the UPenn Campus to 22nd and South Street will take approx. 15 minutes.
- Riding a bike can greatly reduce your commute!
