SRAM Red

SRAM RED IN STOCK NOW!

We have complete groups in stock and ready to be installed.

Some of the new features include:

  • Brake lever reach adjustment
  • Shift paddle adjustment

This a big plus for an ergonomic fit. The adjustment can be made quickly and easily. The levers are incredibly lightweight and attractive to the eye. They're also easily serviceable.

2008 SRAM also includes shift trim in the big ring. Now you can ride a full range of gears without the chain rubbing the front derailleur. The rear derailleur is also very lightweight and incorporates ceramic pulleys. Talk about low friction, these can't be beat. Shifting is spot on under load or cruising. The cranks are gorgeous and also include ceramic bearings. I can't talk about ceramic bearings enough. Smooth like glass, they spin almost effortlessly. Have you seen the new cassette? It alone is a true work of art.

Product Review: By Lee Rogers
After a year of riding the SRAM Force group and getting an idea of how the system works, I'm glad to report that SRAM Red has some changes that anyone would appreciate. My favorite innovation is the way I can adjust the brake lever and shifter paddle positions - something you won't find in another shifter.

The overall feel of the brake lever and hood is very comfortable. There are lots of things I like about this group in addition to the shifters. When shifting in the big ring, the feel is very positive. If there's a situation in which I need to ride in my largest ring and my largest cog, trimming the front derailleur is done with a well defined tap of the shifter. Shifting up and down the rear cassette under load is smooth and positive, not to say that I am that load. I know I've mentioned ceramic bearing before, but I really can't say enough about how great they are. For SRAM to have included these on both the bottom bracket and rear derailleur pulleys is a HUGE plus.

Last but not least it's a gorgeous group of components that, with the addition aftermarket options like colored brake hoods, the lightest group on the market can also be the best looking.

I could go on and on. Come see for yourself.
